Turbo-charged jobs supermarket coming to WIN Entertainment Centre

The wait is over for businesses looking for staff and job seekers looking for opportunities as the ‘turbo-charged jobs supermarket’ that is the Keep Australia Working Jobs Expo, comes to the WIN Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 25 March.
The Keep Australia Working Jobs Expo initiative introduced by the Australian Government in October last year has proven a great success, with up 700 exhibitors providing around 2500 jobs seekers with real jobs in the seven expos held so far.

Illawarra Jobs Expo Coordinator Michele Kutup said the Jobs Expo brings great opportunities for both employers and local job seekers.

“The Illawarra Jobs Expo is a practical way for employers, industry groups, recruitment and training providers as well a Federal, State and Local Government to connect directly with local job seekers,” Ms Kutup said.

“The Jobs Expo is the kick-start the Illawarra needs after the recent global financial down-turn.

“The Jobs Expo is a one-stop jobs supermarket where jobs seekers and employers can engage in person. It’s about building relationships, seeing the qualities in people first hand and gauging what both employers and job seekers have to offer one another.

“No sending your resume over the internet here, it’s about real jobs right now on the day!

“Entry for exhibitors and job seekers is free, so if you need staff now or in the future, come and register as an exhibitor,” Ms Kutup said.

“If you’re too busy to be an exhibitor at the expo but still want to place your ad for staff, contact Centrelink and we’ll do it for you. Don’t miss out on having your job seen by thousands of eager jobseekers from all across the Illawarra.”

The Illawarra ‘Keep Australia Working’ Centrelink Jobs Expo is on Thursday, 25 March from 10am– 3pm at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
